This being said, I believe that this is the loop hole that psychiatrists have held a tight grip onto during this age of mass prescription drug use because one thing they seem to love to stand by is "Non-habit forming," i.e., "non-addictive." Interesting that they omit the discontinuation symptoms that will stand in the place of those statements. Many patients become angry with their doctors for not warning them of the withdrawal symptoms associated with their specific medication, but a better and more accurate reason to be at odds with your mental health doctor is for not telling you that though your body will not crave the drug once you discontinue, there will be extreme symptoms of re-adjustment. Again, it's semantics, though I much prefer having all possible outcomes of the aftermath overly explained than not explained at all.
